You can begin the checks from there. On the way back I almost got in a terrifying accident and almost didn't even make it. I have thought maybe a ground wire needed to be connected, but I have no idea what wire that may be. So I contacted consumer affairs to see what they can do bc it's not fair that I have to pay for their mistake. Then I got to my first stop light and when the light turned green the car would not go anywhere then is started goi g really really slow and then all of a sudden it accelerated so fast it was scary. This is starting to affect my driving abilities because its so shiny that it reflects in my window and makes it hard to see. His response was that this was the first time he had heard and experienced it but unless there were a lot of complaints for that specific problem nothing would happen.
I hooked the radio back up and the radio would come on but there was no sound. So do you have the factory amps in place or not? Another possibility regardless what version system is installed would be if a wire cracked and is showing somehow, grounding out causing the speakers to go out. I had to restart then turn off and the radio lights went out. It kept making the noise while driving so I brought it back the second time and they said they completed the service bulletin by installing some double sided tape. I was then told by Nissan dealership that Nissan was well aware of the issue and they had added an extended warranty to fix the bad part but it had expired earlier in 2015. The car would not start, nothing was happening. The radio and cd player began working intermittently and then stopped working entirely.

I am done with Nissan and their products. Check here for the instructions: Only reason I don't say it's the speakers is because you'd have to be killing it for all speakers to suddenly go at once. My radio flickers and becomes dim to the point where I can't read what the display says. All the windows and doors will lock and the remote keyless entry does not seem to work.

I do - but the problem wasn't the display going dim and bright like it should. The engine only stayed on in neutral or park.
We stayed there for a bit waiting for a tow truck. Oddly enough adjusting the outside mirror brought it back. Any suggestions about an easy way to reproduce for warranty service purposes? Do anyone think I may have loose wires or maybe a speaker is blowed? I bought a 1998 Nissan Altima head unit that fit perfectly into my Pathfinder.
