I managed to pull the vehicle to the side of the road. Also happens if you are towing on an incline and you spin up engine before releasing foot brake. The recall began on November 7, 2016. In the event a pedal is trapped, pushing on the brake pedal will brake the vehicle and enable the driver to slow and stop and turn off the vehicle.
